Steeplejack Services

All our steeplejacks possess an industry NVQ qualification which confirms their individual skill level. Additional skills qualifications include scaffolding, welding, appointed person, brick layer, plant & machinery operators & NDT.
Our ongoing commitment to the safety training and culture of all our Steeplejacks, Supervisors, Managers and Directors includes SSSTS, SMSTS, NVQ 6&7, NEBOSH and IOSH qualifications.

Silo Maintenance
Unlike steel chimneys the test, inspection and maintenance of silos often goes unnoticed. Failing paintwork, rusting of the surface together with unkempt support steelwork, pipes, valves and vents are not only the first signs of potential structural failure, but also give the wrong impression of an otherwise well organised, efficient and professionally run plant.
Preparation and painting of your silo’s can be achieved at a relatively low cost and the results can be startling.
Steel Chimney Design and Installation
Churchill have the capability to design, supply and install a new chimney or replacement chimney sections. This is carried out following consideration of the flue gases, the operating conditions and the client’s performance requirements.
Refractory Linings
Refractory linings require regular inspection and maintenance if they are to remain serviceable. In addition to replacement of thinning or damaged linings, Churchill have the capability to offer full replacement of all types of refractory lining.
