Olympic Park ‐ Bridge
During the construction of the London 2012 Olympic Park, the contractor discovered that the newly installed pedestrian access bridge had not been painted to the correct specification and required an additional coating applied. Time was of the essence as the park was due to open.
The Solution
Through the specialist access division of Churchill Specialist Contracting we designed a bespoke working platform that was suspended from the bridge beams. The design provided a quick and safe access to the underside of the bridge, to allow the works to go ahead in time for the official opening.
