A six man strong team of steeplejacks and enviro coating specialists are 3 months into a 5 month contract that will see the 8x roof nodes at the NOC building at Southampton, completely refurbished.
The refurbishment scope includes the installation of scaffold access and the use of rope access to prepare and coat the steel roof sections of each node and apply a specialist LRS coating to the existing mineral felt roof areas. In addition new lead work has been installed and mobile cranes employed to dismantle and lowered to ground redundant equipment located on the Node roofs .
This project showcases the companies capabilities to design & install its own specialist access together with fully utilising its skill sets to complete a wide range of work all managed and manned by Churchill’s directly employed labour.
