Inspection of the Concrete Sea Wall Penarth

Concrete Condition Surveys

Concrete is a highly durable building material, however it does have a design life that leaves it susceptible to degradation and in need of maintenance. Churchill Specialist Contracting provide and carry our concrete structural surveys in order to determine the cause of deterioration and in turn provide our clients with accurate and detailed reports that clearly out- line the condition of their structure.

In every instance we remove all loose and dangerous material and quantify and qualify all defects in order to produce accurate documentation detailing the structures condition.

Often our reports are used as detailed tender documents for planned remedial works. We always provide recommendations and specifications for any remedial works required. We utilise the Concrete Repair Associations, Standard Method of Measurement, in order to provide detailed information on size and type of defects.

Our services and skills are often called upon by independent structural engineers in order to accurately assess concrete structures. Our expertise in working at height and rope access means we have the in house ability to carry out our structural surveys safely in areas of difficult access, avoiding costly scaffolding. Our operatives are also trained in confined space entry and rescue with full BA should this be required.
