Churchill have secured the contract to install modular access platforms internally at the summit of the concrete coal handling silos located at TATA Scunthorpe.

Working from the internal modular access platforms a team of specially trained and skilled Churchill rope access and concrete repair operatives will survey and repair the internal concrete walls of each silo.

The installation of the modular access platform will not only provide safe access, it will serve as the primary means of rescue in the event of a rescue is required from within the confined space

The contract will commence Monday 18 April and will engage a team of up to 8 men for a period of 13 weeks.
