Remedial repairs are under way to two of the largest brick built chimneys located on the TATA site at Scunthorpe.

The work will engage up to eight site based operatives and will take approximately 5 months to complete.

Remedial repairs to be undertaken includes extensive re pointing of the upper regions of both chimneys and the installation of additional steel restraining bands together with the fixing of steel safety cleats beneath both the existing and newly installed steel work.
